Mr. Lam Yuk Fai

Lam Yuk Fai is a renowned artist from Hong Kong. Since 1980, Mr. Lam has been continuously pioneering new realms in art. He first established himself in the hyperrealist painting genre. By the mid-1980s, he became well-known in the Southeast Asian advertising industry for his photo retouching work. In 1990, he began exploring digital art and shared his experience in image processing and digital art as a lecturer at higher education institutions.

In 2006, Mr. Lam was invited to serve as the art consultant for “Noah’s Ark” in Ma Wan, Hong Kong. Lam Yuk Fai’s artistic scope is vast, ranging from traditional oil painting, watercolor, printmaking, sculpture, and calligraphy to contemporary installation art, photographic effects, digital art, and AR street art. In addition to creating art and organizing exhibitions, he is involved in art curation, consultancy, theme park design, and themed exhibitions. In recent years, he has collaborated with artist Wang Danmei to promote community art and arts education in various cities across mainland China.

In 2021, Lam Yuk Fai was invited to be the curator and artistic director of NOVOLAND, Hong Kong’s first large-scale art estate. In 2022, he founded the District Aesthetics Art Museum, and in 2024, he co-founded the Farfalla Aesthetic Space and the “International Institute of Aesthetic Education” with artist Wang Danmei.
